Scotland’s national motorsports centre is just 10 minutes from Craigduckie and offers something for everyone. Whether you just want to spectate and soak up the atmosphere of the major events held at Knockhill or whether you want to get behind the wheel and drive one of their high performance cars around the track you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Knockhill is host to the UK’s top televised motorsport events such as the Superbikes or Touring Cars providing no end of track action for you to witness. You can check out their diary of events here (link to diary). In addition to the main track, Knockhill also has a specific karting track where we recently enjoyed a family Karting session which is suitable for children 8 years plus (minimum height of 127cm). The team at Knockhill were so helpful and provide all of the kit required. The karting track is great fun with lots of twists and turns to navigate.
Ever been on a Hovercraft? Craigluscar Activities is run by our friends just 5 minutes along the road from Craigduckie and offers an outdoor experience to remember.
They offer a range of activities including:

· archery (age 14 + and minimum of 4 people),
· rifle shooting (age 12+)
· piloting a hover craft (age 16 +).
· mini Highland Games (minimum of 8 people). Split into two groups and complete against each other tossing the caber, haggis throwing and wellie hurling!
You can have a go at as many activities as you wish.
All of these activities take place on the Graham’s family farm which has the most amazing views over Dunfermline and the River Forth towards Edinburgh.
Whatever you choose to do, the Graham’s family will make sure you have a great time and will be on hand to offer some tips and encouragement.
